Seminar participants receive instruction in the essential didactic and practical skills required for moderating group discussions and meetings. They learn the basic principles of the Metaplan moderation method and how to involve and integrate the members of a group. They are taught how the Metaplan method can be used to structure complex issues, present them visually, and render them accessible so that the players engage with them. Seminar participants also acquire the ability to handle conflict-laden situations and deal with resistance in their role as moderators.
The structure of our training seminars is entirely interactive. Individual and group exercises allow seminar participants to deepen their initial experiences as moderators and discourse leaders, to familiarize themselves with the techniques, and to test them out.
